Muslim Mentor Program is a faith-based community Partner with Harris County Sheriff's Reentry Program. Volunteer Mentors have been serving the jails located at 701 N. San Jacinto St. and 1200 Baker St. since July 2014. Volunteers visit 2000+ inmates annually.

Jail chaplaincy operations are coordinated by the following people across 4 units:
Female Prison Unit Chaplaincy is coordinated by the Puerto Rican PEER MENTOR Brother Yusuf Abdul Samad who visits Gatesville and Marlin units.
Upon release, reentry efforts are coordinated by 5th Ward Human Development Center (HDC) which is successfully operated by founder Joseph
Clark and House Manager Bobby Foster. Brothers living here must attend weekly classes on the following topics:

- Wednesdays at 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM: Millat Islami, The Islamic 12-Step Self-help Program
- Saturdays at 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: CA meeting
- Saturdays at 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Anger Management Class
